in this river system. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, it's good length for a morning trip. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling spots.
Briefly about the general area: Head up to Stephens Pass and strap some skis to your feet. For the period of the warm days of summer at Tye River temperatures are frequently in the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in
the 40's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Tye River temperatures plunge to the 30's. The high level of rainfall makes Tye River a reasonably wet spot; the month with most of the rain is December while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
