For the duration   of the wintertime highs are frequently in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Vance Creek temperatures dip to the 30's. Vance Creek is a wet location that gets a large amount of rainfall; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is July.
