The natural beauty of Snohomish County and the playfulness of the water attract people from near and far. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Washington are often tougher than in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that many of the sections here are not safe for beginners. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. There are no other sections to paddle along Wallace River than the Bridge Close to Gold Bar to mouth section. Getting your paddling

On this section you do get some distance, suitable for an afternoon trip. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby.
