The average Washington whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master than those in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many runs in this state are not easy. you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of places for that. There are some good sections to paddle in this river system, the Tumwater Campground to Leavenworth section is one of them. This stretch is mid length, good for a one day paddling trip. A bit
of exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors have people coming from far and near. This stretch of Wenatchee River is 7.5 miles long and it is classified as a class V section by American Whitewater. No shortage of good hotels, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick.
Briefly about the general area: Don't leave Wenatchee River without first checking out Castle Rock; do take a hike on the Snow Lakes Trail. A typical amount of rain falls here at Wenatchee River; most of the snow falls all through January,
