The average Washington whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be harder to run than those in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. This section of White River in Washington is 10 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class III section. The Silver Springs Campground to West Fork White section is one of a few paddling sections in this river system. No matter if you're
whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling spots. There's camping available near White River. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these
hotels fill up quick. The wild scenery of the Northern Cascade Range is great. This stretch is long enough for an overnight trip if you take your time, so go ahead and pack your camping stuff. A bit of exercise and spending some quality time in nature are great reasons to come.
