The Green Truss Bridge to BZ Corners stretch of White Salmon River is 4.9 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class V section of whitewater. The average Washington whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master than those in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many runs in this state are not easy. The beautiful Northern Cascade Range scenery is an added bonus. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. This is not the only paddling stretch in this river system, there are
others too. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The wonderful Klickitat County scenery and the playfulness of the water are reasons enough
to come here and paddle. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling rivers. A bit of exercise and just being out on the river for a while have people coming from far and near. This stretch has has enough mileage, it's good length for a morning trip. that gets the most snow, and July on the other hand is the driest. So much enjoyable stuff in the Northern Cascade Range, just remarkable. Near White Salmon River you discover Bear Valley which is a good place to visit, and going for a hike along the Little White Salmon Trail
will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. For the duration of the summertime at White Salmon River temperatures are commonly in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. Highs throughout the winter are typically in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at White Salmon River temperatures plunge to the 20's.
