  The wonderful Washington scenery and the water flowing gracefully down White Salmon River beats anything. The Green Truss Bridge to BZ Corners section of White Salmon River in Klickitat County is 4.9 miles long and is a class V section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. The average Washington whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master than those in other states, so better not forget that quite a few of the sections here are not easy. This river system is full of great paddling sections, the Green Truss Bridge to BZ
    Corners section is just one of them. If you're coming from Hood River it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, as you can see on the road map further down. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, around here you'll find a large number
of good spots. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. The beauty of the Northern Cascade Range is a great plus for this river. On this section you do get some distance, it's perfect for a one day trip. There's camping available near White Salmon River. Getting your paddling muscles activated and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great attractions for lots of people.

at White Salmon River temperatures are generally in the 80's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are commonly in the 30's, and overnight lows at White Salmon River during the winter ordinarily plunge into the 20's. Bear Valley is a splendid spot to spend some time at; if you're here you can take a hike along the Little White Salmon Trail.
White Salmon River sees pretty high levels of rain; December is when you get the most snow here while July is commonly the driest month. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Cascade Range.
