The BZ Corner to Buck Creek section of White Salmon River is 7 miles long and it is classified as a class III+(V) section by American Whitewater. There are so many sections to paddle in this river system, the BZ Corner to Buck Creek section is just one of many. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside Washington you     might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many of the sections here are not safe for beginners. This stretch has has enough mileage, good for a one day paddling trip. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way there are lots of good spots for that around here. The natural beauty of Washington and the cool fresh water will make you feel great. A bit of exercise and spending some quality time in nature are great reasons to come. The wild scenery of the Northern Cascade Range is great. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. Briefly about the general area: The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to White Salmon River with nighttime lows in the 40's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's   while White Salmon River night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's.
