Neola to Blue Bend Recreation Area section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.
CLASS I-II 10 miles
This stretch of Anthony Creek in West Virginia is 10 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class I-II section. The scenic beauty of Greenbrier County and the playfulness of the water make the trip here worthwhile. This section is long enough for an overnight trip if you take your time, so why not pack your camp stove too. The average West Virginia whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be easier to run than those in other states, so better not forget that rivers here are not as hard as elsewhere. You might have to settle for a hotel
a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Great exercise and just hanging out with mother nature are great reasons to come. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. No matter
if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of places for that.
