The beautiful scenery of Greenbrier County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water have people coming here. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in West Virginia is often easier than elsewhere, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many of the rivers here are not very demanding. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but you'd better     reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. The Neola to Blue Bend Recreation Area section is one of a few paddling sections in this river system. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are lots of good spots for that around here. You can enjoy this stretch more if you take your time, so pack your camping stuff. Briefly about the general area: You might want to pay a visit to Waids Draft while you're here at Anthony Creek, and on a fine day you can take a hike along the Beaver Lick Mountain Trail. Through the summer months here at Anthony Creek, high temperatures frequently get into the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. All through the winter the highs are regularly in the 30's; nighttime lows in the   10's for Anthony Creek. Anthony Creek is a quite wet place typically with a great deal of rain; through July this area sees the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.
