This section of Beaver Creek in Preston County is 1.1 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class III-IV section. The put-in is not too far from Morgantown, as you can see on the road map further down. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more forgiving than the national average, so better not forget that rivers here are less demanding. This is a very short stretch so you'd     better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this area has a large number of paddling spots. There are some good stretches to paddle in this river system, the CR 11/1 to confluence with Little Sandy Creek stretch is one of them. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. Great exercise and just hanging out with mother nature are great attractions for lots of people.
