A good workout and just being out on the river for a while are great attractions for lots of people. The Rangoon to Tygart Junction section is one of many paddling sections
in this river system. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way in this general area you'll find lots of paddling rivers. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do
book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more forgiving, so you'd better keep in mind that rivers here are not as hard as elsewhere. This is a pretty short section so no need to bring snacks.
