The West Virginia 72 to Macomber section of Buffalo Creek in West Virginia is 4.9 miles long and it is classified as a class III section by American Whitewater. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in West Virginia is often easier than elsewhere, so don't forget that quite a few of the sections here are pretty easy. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination.
