The starting point is not too far from Winchester, as you can see on the road map further down. Great exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors will have you coming back for more. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good spots. If you hurry you can run this section
in a day but why not make it an overnighter, so why not pack your camp stove too. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. There are no other sections to paddle along Cacapon
