The beautiful scenery of Preston County and the cool fresh water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often easier than elsewhere, so don't forget that many runs in this state are very easy. If you're coming from Morgantown it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, there's a road map further down the page with more info on that. | to be a class III-IV section. You can enjoy this stretch more if you take your time, so why not pack your sleeping bag too. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good spots.
