The Jenkinsburg Bridge to Cheat Lake stretch of Cheat River is 10 miles long and has been rated as a class III section by American Whitewater. The put-in location is a reasonable drive from Morgantown, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. The beautiful scenery of Preston/Monongalia County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water beats anything.
