Briefly about the general area: Take a hike on the Birchlog Trail, and you can have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Pocahontas Trail. All the water falling down from the sky makes Cranberry River a wet place; July is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February. 80's, and the nighttime is slightly chillier of course, ordinarily in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Cranberry River.
