Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in West Virginia are easier than the national norm, so you'd better keep in mind that the rivers in this state are less demanding. A good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great attractions for lots of people. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. The natural beauty of Mineral County and the playfulness     of the water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. This is the only paddling section along Difficult Creek.
