Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in West Virginia are easier than the national norm, so don't forget that a lot of the rivers here are suitable for beginners. On this section you do get some distance, suitable for an afternoon trip. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. No
