The wonderful West Virginia scenery and the water flowing gracefully down Greenbrier River - West Fork make the trip here worthwhile. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way in this general area you'll find lots of paddling rivers. A good workout and just being out on the river for a while are great attractions for lots of people. On this section you do get some distance, you can easily run it on an afternoon. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your
car. The Wildell to Burner section of Greenbrier River - West Fork is 8.9 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class I-II section. If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more forgiving, so you'd better keep in mind
that a lot of the rivers here are suitable for beginners. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. There are so many sections to paddle in this river system, the Wildell to Burner section is just one of many.
