The wonderful West Virginia scenery and the playfulness of the water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more forgiving than the national average, so if you're not from around here don't forget that many of the rivers here are not very demanding. On this section you do get some distance, suitable for an afternoon trip. This river system is full of great paddling sections, the Wildell to Burner section is just one of them.
