CLASS I-II     14.8 miles
  If you're coming from Clarksburg it's not a long drive at all to the starting location. This section of Holly River - Right Fork in Webster/Braxton County is 14.8 miles long and has been rated as a class I-II section by American Whitewater. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of spots for that. There are plenty of other stretches in this river system that can be paddled as well.
    This stretch is long enough for an overnight trip if you take your time, so pack your camp stove. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in West Virginia is often easier than elsewhere, so better not forget that many of the sections
in this state are safe for beginners. The campgrounds here at Holly River - Right Fork are pretty good. The beautiful scenery of Webster/Braxton County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water make the trip here worthwhile. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination.

- Right Fork you can take a hike along the Tramontane Trail, and a spree to Holly River State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. There is a good hiking trail close to Holly River - Right Fork called the Salt Lick Trail; you're sure to come across some nice folks from Diana here. This is a great river. Holly River - Right Fork gets much water. The wettest month of the year is ordinarily July, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. For the period of the summertime months highs here at Holly River - Right Fork get into the 80's.
