Nebo section is the only paddling section along Hominy Creek. This stretch of Hominy Creek is 12 miles long and it is classified as a class II-IV section by American Whitewater. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way there are lots of good spots for that around     here. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. This stretch has enough mileage for an overnight trip, so pack your sleeping bag. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often easier than in other states, so better not forget that the rivers in this state are less demanding. A good workout and spending some quality time in nature have a lot of people coming here. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. Briefly about the general area: Through the months of summer here at Hominy Creek, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 80's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 60's. Throughout the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 40's with winter   lows in the 20's overnight here at Hominy Creek.
