The beautiful scenery of Nicholas County and the playfulness of the water make the trip here worthwhile. There's camping available near Hominy Creek. If you have the time you can make this a two day trip, so go ahead and pack your camping stuff. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination.
