If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more forgiving, so if you're not from around here don't forget that many of the sections here are safe for beginners. Getting your paddling muscles activated and just being out on the river for a while are great reasons to come. This is one of a small number of paddling sections in this river system, there are a few others too. The natural beauty of Webster/ Braxton County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream beats anything. If you're a camper
you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, it's perfect for a one day trip. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, and if you make reservations in advance
