The starting point is not too far from Beckley, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. This stretch of Little Bluestone River & Tributaries in West Virginia is 2.2 miles long and has been rated as a class II-III+ section by American Whitewater. The average West Virginia whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be easier to run than those in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that rivers here are less demanding. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to
one, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. There's camping available near Little Bluestone River & Tributaries. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this area has a large number of paddling places. The
nature scenery of West Virginia and the playfulness of the water will make you feel great. A bit of exercise and just hanging out with mother nature will make you glad you came.
