Whitewater rafting and kayaking in West Virginia is often easier than elsewhere, so you'd better keep in mind that a lot of the rivers here are suitable for beginners. The nature scenery of West Virginia and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water have people coming here. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of     rivers for that. A good workout and just being out on the river for a while are sure to keep you coming back for more. There are a few other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. This stretch has has enough mileage, it's perfect for a one day trip. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car.
