This section of Little Wolf Creek is 2.5 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class III-IV(V) section of whitewater. A good workout and just hanging out with mother nature are great reasons to come. This stretch is short so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch. There are plenty of other sections in this river system that can     be paddled as well. The scenic beauty of West Virginia and the playfulness of the water attract people from near and far. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are lots of good rivers for that around here. Briefly about the general area: Nearby Kate Hollow is a tremendous location to go if you're at Little Wolf Creek. Through the summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Little Wolf Creek. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and night lows through the winter for Little Wolf Creek tend to be in the 10's.
