Briefly about the general area: Middle Fork is a relatively wet place typically with much rain; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain; October meanwhile is the driest month. At Middle Fork through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. Through the dark hours   of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are mostly in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Middle Fork temperatures fall to the 10's.
