If you're coming from Morgantown it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, as you can see on the road map further down. The wonderful West Virginia scenery and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. There's camping available near Muddy Creek. This is one of a small number of paddling sections in this river system, there are a few others too. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these |
