The Bridge on West Virginia 92 to bridge at Hiram stretch of Sandy Creek is 5.1 miles long and is a class I-II section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. The wonderful West Virginia scenery and the playfulness of the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. On this section you do get some distance,
it's perfect for a one day trip. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this area has a large number of paddling rivers. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations
