The CR 9 to Potomac confluence stretch of Sleepy Creek in West Virginia is 7.7 miles long and has been rated as a class I-II section by American Whitewater. The put-in location is a short drive from Hagerstown-Martinsburg, if you're not familiar with the area there's     a road map further down the page. The campgrounds here at Sleepy Creek are pretty good. This is a pretty decent length section, it's perfect for a one day trip. There are a few other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are lots of good spots for that around here.
