to confluence of Back Fork of Elk section. A good workout and just being out on the river for a while will make you glad you came. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. The scenic beauty of Webster County and the
sparkling of the sunlight on the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. The campgrounds here at Sugar Creek are pretty good. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of spots for that.

Through the long summer days at Sugar Creek highs are generally in the 80's while night lows are frequently in the 60's.
