This section is quite short so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch. There are no other sections to paddle along Sugar Creek than the Confluence of Little Sugar Creek     to confluence of Back Fork of Elk section. A good workout and just being out on the river for a while will make you glad you came. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. The scenic beauty of Webster County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. The campgrounds here at Sugar Creek are pretty good. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of spots for that.
