The wonderful West Virginia scenery and the water flowing gracefully down Tea Creek attract people from near and far. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in West Virginia tend to be more forgiving than the national average, so keep in mind that many of the sections here are safe for beginners. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car.
