This stretch of Thorn/Whitethorn Creek in West Virginia is 10.1 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class II-III(IV) section. There are many good hotels to choose from, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way in this general area you'll find
lots of paddling rivers. Great exercise and just hanging out with mother nature have people coming from far and near. The beautiful scenery of West Virginia and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water attract people from near and far. This section is long enough for an overnight
