Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling rivers. The Close to West Virginia 92 to Thornton section is the only paddling section along Three Fork Creek. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if
you want to stay the night, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. This section is long enough for an overnight trip if you take your time, so pack your sleeping bag. Getting some good exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors have a lot of people coming
here. The campgrounds here at Three Fork Creek are pretty good. The put-in is not too far from Morgantown, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. the driest month. A trip to Manacea Spring will fill your spirit with delightful feelings. Throughout the days of summer, highs mostly are in the 80's at Three Fork Creek. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Three Fork Creek.
