This stretch of Three Fork Creek is 12 miles long and is a class I-IV section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no     problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The nature scenery of West Virginia and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water attract people from near and far. Getting some good exercise and just hanging out with mother nature are great reasons to come. This stretch has enough mileage for an overnight trip, so why not pack your camp stove too. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way in this general area you'll find lots of paddling rivers. This is the only paddling section along Three Fork Creek. Briefly about the general area: The high level of precipitation makes Three Fork Creek a quite wet site; July is the wettest month with most rain while February is generally the driest month. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's. Highs throughout the winter are ordinarily in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Three Fork Creek.
