Briefly about the general area: Tygart Valley River is a rather wet place commonly with a great deal of precipitation; throughout July this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is February. Go for a hike on the Clay Run Trail, and don't leave Tygart Valley River without first going for a hike along the Mill Ridge Trail. At Tygart Valley River through the summer highs are in the 70's. Once the
sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Tygart Valley River tend to be in the 10's.
