Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often easier than elsewhere, so better not forget that many of the sections here are safe for beginners. The Reservoir to New River stretch of Wolf Creek is 2.1 miles long and is a class V+ section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. There are nice comfortable hotels here, but do book a room before you come     because it is a very popular destination. This is the only paddling section along Wolf Creek. This section is quite short so no need to bring snacks. Briefly about the general area: Wolf Creek sees pretty high levels of precipitation; July is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is February. Summer at Wolf Creek arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's.
