The scenic beauty of Wisconsin and the playfulness of the water make the trip here worthwhile. This section has enough mileage for an overnight trip, so why not pack your camping stuff too. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way there are lots of good rivers for that around here. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but you'd better     reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Great exercise and just being out on the river for a while are sure to keep you coming back for more. The Gogebic Range scenery is wonderful. This river system is full of great paddling stretches, the Devil's Gate footbridge to Elm Hoist Road stretch is just one of them.
