Greenwood Park section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.
CLASS I-II 10.5 miles
This stretch of Black River is 10.5 miles long and it is classified as a class I-II section by American Whitewater. The wonderful Clark County scenery and the playfulness of the water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. This river system is full of great paddling sections, the Greenwood Park section is just one of them. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling spots. You can enjoy this stretch more if you take your time, so go ahead and pack your camping stuff. And of course, there are campgrounds
nearby. Getting some good exercise and spending some quality time in nature will have you coming back for more. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up
quick. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Wisconsin are easier than the national norm, so if you're not from around here don't forget that a lot of the rivers here are suitable for beginners.
