The wonderful Wisconsin scenery and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water make the trip here worthwhile. Getting your paddling muscles activated and just being out on the river for a while have people coming from far and near. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more forgiving, so you'd better keep in mind that rivers here are not as hard as elsewhere. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance
because these hotels fill up quick. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, around here you'll find a large number of good places. This is not the only paddling section in this river system, there are others too. The Greenwood Park stretch of
Black River in Wisconsin is 10.5 miles long and it is classified as a class I-II section by American Whitewater. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. This stretch is long enough for an overnight trip if you take your time, so pack your camping stuff.
