Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more forgiving than the national average, so keep in mind that many of the rivers here are not very demanding. The Copper Range Campground to Highway 13 section of Bois Brule River in Wisconsin is 8.3 miles long and has been rated as a class II section by American Whitewater. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. You might have
to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. The Copper Range Campground to Highway 13 section is one of a few paddling sections in this river system. This section is long
enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, it's good length for a morning trip. Getting some good exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are sure to keep you coming back for more.
