This stretch of Chippewa River is 0.5 miles long and is a class II-III section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. The average Wisconsin whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be easier to run than those in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that rivers here     are less demanding. This is a very short stretch so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times.
