The Pleasant Road to Highway 147 stretch of Devil's River in Wisconsin is 3.9 miles long and it is classified as a     class II-III section by American Whitewater. This is the only paddling section along Devil's River. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, there are not so many other good rivers for that around here. This is a bit of a short stretch so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Briefly about the general area: Summertime at Devil's River comes with high temperatures in the 80's with night lows in the 50's.
