If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more forgiving, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that rivers here are not as hard as elsewhere. The wonderful Chippewa County scenery and the playfulness of the water make the trip here worthwhile. This is a short paddling stretch so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch. Great exercise and just hanging out with     mother nature have people coming from far and near. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. There are some good hotels near the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way in this general area you won't find many other paddling places. This is the only paddling stretch along Duncan Creek.
