The Nolan Road to Highway 52 section of Eau Claire River in Marathon County is 2.8 miles long and it is classified as a class II section by American Whitewater. This is a pretty short     section so better bring some good walking shoes. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. This river system has a few good paddling sections and the Nolan Road to Highway 52 section is one of them. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. Great exercise and spending some quality time in nature have a lot of people coming here. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are lots of good places for that around here.
