The wonderful Wisconsin scenery and the water flowing gracefully down Eau Claire River are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more forgiving, so if you're visiting     here do keep in mind that many of the rivers here are not very demanding. The campgrounds here at Eau Claire River are pretty good. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are lots of good spots for that around here. This is one of a small number of paddling stretches in this river system, there are a few others too. Getting your paddling muscles activated and a chance to spend some time outdoors are sure to keep you coming back for more. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, it's perfect for a one day trip. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car.
