This section of Flambeau River - North Fork is 13.5 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class I-II section. If you're coming from Eau Claire it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. The average Wisconsin whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be easier to run than those in other states, so keep in mind that many of the sections in this state are safe for beginners.
