The Mud Lake Road stretch of Little Wolf River in Waupaca County is 7.39 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class II(IV) section. There are no other sections to paddle along Little Wolf     River than the Mud Lake Road section. Getting a good workout and spending some quality time in nature are sure to keep you coming back for more. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this area has a large number of paddling spots. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Wisconsin is often easier than elsewhere, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many of the sections here are safe for beginners. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, you can easily run it on an afternoon. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car.
