The wonderful Wisconsin scenery and the playfulness of the water have people coming here. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. The average Wisconsin whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit easier to master than those in other states, so don't forget that many of the sections here are safe for beginners. You     can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. This stretch is mid length, suitable for an afternoon trip. The river winds through the Gogebic Range and you get great scenery. There are a few other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well. A good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors have a lot of people coming here. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set.
