Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Wisconsin tend to be more forgiving than the national average, so better not forget that a lot of the rivers here are suitable for beginners. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling places. Getting a good workout and just being out on the river for a while have people coming from far and near. There are some good stretches to     paddle in this river system, the FR 194 to FR 384 stretch is one of them. The wild scenery of the Gogebic Range is great. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. This is a pretty decent length section, it's good length for a morning trip. The scenic beauty of Bayfield County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle.
