The beautiful scenery of Wisconsin and the cool fresh water attract people from near and far. The starting location is a reasonable drive from Marinette, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often easier than in other states, so don't forget that many of the sections here are safe for beginners. This is a very     short stretch so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch.
