Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Wisconsin are easier than the national norm, so keep in mind that many runs in this state are very easy. This section of Menominee River in Wisconsin is 0.2 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class IV section. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but if     you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. A bit of exercise and spending some quality time in nature are sure to keep you coming back for more. The starting location is a reasonable drive from Marinette, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of places for that. This is an extremely short section so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times. There are a few other stretches in this river system that can be paddled as well.
