The starting location is a short drive from Marinette, as you can see on the road map further down. The Pemene Falls section of Menominee River is 0.2 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class IV section of whitewater. The Pemene Falls stretch is one of a few paddling stretches in this river system. The wonderful Wisconsin scenery and the cool fresh water beats
    anything. Great exercise and spending some quality time in nature are sure to keep you coming back for more. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are lots of good rivers for that around here. This is a very short section so better bring some good walking shoes. There's
camping available near Menominee River.
