The scenic beauty of Wisconsin and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water have people coming here. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. This stretch is very short so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. There are some good sections to paddle     in this river system, the Pemene Falls section is one of them. Great exercise and just hanging out with mother nature have people coming from far and near. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often easier than elsewhere, so you'd better keep in mind that a large number of rivers in this state are quite easy.
