This section of Neshota River is 3.5 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class I-II section of whitewater. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside Wisconsin you might find the rivers here a bit more manageable, so you'd better keep in mind that rivers here are not as hard as elsewhere. The natural beauty of Manitowoc County and the water flowing gracefully down Neshota     River beats anything. This is a short paddling stretch so no need to bring snacks. The Zander Road to Highway 147 section is the only paddling section along Neshota River. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. Great exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors have people coming from far and near. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you won't find a large number of other rivers. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. Highs during the wintertime are generally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Neshota   River.
