Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often easier than elsewhere, so if you're not from around here don't forget that many of the rivers here are not very demanding. The beautiful scenery of Manitowoc County and the playfulness of the water will make you feel great. This section of Neshota River in Wisconsin is 3.5 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class I-II section. Not too     many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. There are no other stretches to paddle along Neshota River than the Zander Road to Highway 147 stretch. A bit of exercise and spending some quality time in nature will make you glad you came. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. This stretch is short so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this area has a pretty small number of paddling spots. Briefly about the general area: At Neshota River through the summertime highs are in the 80's, and the night is a little chillier of course, typically in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's while Neshota River night low   temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Neshota River; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February.
