This section of New Wood River in Lincoln County is 4.1 miles long and has been rated as a class I-II section     by American Whitewater. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. This is a pretty decent length section, good for a one day paddling trip. The to Tesch Road section is the only paddling section along New Wood River.
