This section of New Wood River in Wisconsin is 4.1 miles long and it is classified as a class I-II section by American Whitewater. The nature scenery of Wisconsin and the water flowing gracefully down New Wood River beats anything. This is the only paddling section along New Wood River. Great exercise and just being out on the river for a while will make you glad you came. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all     set. The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit easier to master in this state than those in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many of the rivers here are not very demanding.
