The wonderful Wisconsin scenery and the water flowing gracefully down Pine River are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. This section of Pine River is 9.3 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class I-II(III) section. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. This stretch is     mid length, good for a one day paddling trip. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are lots of good places for that around here. Great exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are sure to keep you coming back for more. The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Wisconsin are often more forgiving than in other states, so don't forget that the rivers in this state are less demanding.
